These Three Licks Sound GREAT With Fuzz
This batch of bonus content is based on this YouTube lesson - please watch that first before you get started with the content here!
In the YouTube video I showed you three minor pentatonic / blues scale based licks that sound oh-so-good with a nasty sounding fuzz pedal. Shoutout again to Beetronics for sending me a customised version of their amazing new octave fuzz stinger called the Vezzpa for use in this video. Click here to learn more about this awesome pedal!
I don't know about you, but a good fuzz pedal really has an interesting affect on the way that I play, especially when it comes to lead playing. I'm a sucker for over-bending notes, getting a bit more 'messy' with my technique and note choices in general - probably because 'mistakes' actually sound good with a fuzz!
Anyway, for this batch of bonus content I'm providing you guys with the TAB files for the intro solo in the YouTube video (Guitar Pro & PDF), the fuzz rock backing track in both video and downloadable WAV file formats, plus three bonus licks that will also sound killer with a good fuzz tone. I hope you dig the licks.
Please remember that if you're unfamiliar with any of the music theory terminology used in these videos, you can learn everything you need to know about the fundamentals of music theory applied to the guitar, in my original Bulletproof Guitar Player courses, which are included as part of your subscription to the site! Just head over to the COURSES page to get started with either of them.
If you decide to learn these licks and share videos of you playing them online, please tag me in your posts and I'd love to watch! My instagram handle is @rosscampbellguitarist
